This Burger King meal comes with a surprise Gen Z will actually want
A mini camera, burgers and a little nostalgia? Burger King Malaysia's latest collab with Coca-Cola is turning a fast-food run into a photo-worthy adventure.
When was the last time you took a photo without reaching for your phone?
In an era where every memory lives in a camera roll filled with thousands of forgotten pictures, tiny digital cameras are making an unexpected comeback.
From TikTok to Instagram, Gen Z and millennials are rediscovering the charm of grainy, candid snapshots that feel less polished and a lot more personal.
Now, Burger King Malaysia is tapping into the trend with a collectible that's likely to get people talking.
Starting today (July 13), the fast-food chain has teamed up with Coca-Cola to launch the KingCam Mini Camera, a limited-edition digital camera available exclusively through its latest promotion.
Rather than being sold on its own, the KingCam is unlocked through selected meal bundles, making it feel more like a coveted collectible than just another promotional giveaway.
The campaign offers two qualifying meal options:
-Nachos Cheese Deluxe Medium Meal Set with four-piece nuggets for RM25.95.
-Two-piece Fried Chicken Medium Meal Set with Nachos Cheese Dunk for RM27.40 (prices include 6% SST).
Once you've purchased either meal, you'll be eligible to buy the KingCam Mini Camera for RM59.90. The camera also comes with a 1GB SD card, with Burger King saying the package has a retail value of RM99.

A trendy accessory
Mini digital cameras have become one of the year's biggest lifestyle trends, with many young people embracing their retro aesthetic for holidays, café dates, concerts and everyday outings.
Unlike smartphone cameras that often encourage endless retakes, these pocket-sized gadgets celebrate spontaneous, imperfect moments.
Whether it's your family's weekend makan, a road trip with friends or your child's first ice cream cone, the KingCam is designed to capture memories that feel a little more authentic.
According to Burger King Malaysia head of marketing Leong Huey Ying, the campaign celebrates the simple moments Malaysians share over good food.
"Gathering over great food is part of who we are as Malaysians. With the Vibe Check with KingCam Mini Camera campaign, we wanted to celebrate those everyday moments that are worth holding onto," she said.
How to get one
The KingCam Mini Camera is available from July 13 at participating Burger King Malaysia outlets nationwide, while stocks last.
