Victoria Beckham breaks silence on family strain, says ‘we always put our children first’

Victoria Beckham has addressed a “challenging” year in a recent television interview, marking her first public remarks since reports of a fallout with her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham.

Appearing on the Today show, the fashion designer did not directly comment on the reported family tension. However, she stressed that her priority has always been her children.

“We always put our children first. We love our children so much and we’ve always really focused on protecting our children,” she said.

Victoria, who shares Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper with David Beckham, also highlighted the importance of family support during difficult periods.

“Myself and David, we’re so close. We support each other through everything that we do,” she added.

Reports of growing distance

The Beckham family has been under public scrutiny following reports of a growing distance between Brooklyn and the rest of the family.

In a separate interview with The Wall Street Journal, Victoria reiterated that her focus remains unchanged.

“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. We’ve always tried to protect our children and love our children,” she said.

While she has avoided engaging directly with the speculation, her comments reflect a consistent message centred on family, support and privacy.

The situation continues to draw attention, although neither side has indicated any immediate resolution.
