Apple Martin looks just like mum Gwyneth Paltrow as she films her first major movie role
Apple Martin is officially stepping into the world of acting, and the resemblance to her famous mother, Gwyneth Paltrow, is hard to miss.
The 22-year-old was recently spotted filming scenes for her feature film debut, Paris Paramount, the forthcoming movie from filmmaker Nancy Meyers.
Photos from the Los Angeles set showed Apple working alongside Owen Wilson, Rich Sommer, Erin Doherty and Tony Hale, marking a major new chapter for the recent Vanderbilt University graduate.
Dressed in an orange jumper with flared denim jeans, Apple bore a striking resemblance to Paltrow, who has spent decades in front of the camera.
Following her mother into the movies
Apple’s role in Paris Paramount remains under wraps, but she joins a star-studded cast that also includes Penélope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law and Beverly D’Angelo.
Her involvement also creates an interesting connection to her mother’s own acting career.

Wilson previously starred alongside Paltrow in Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums, released in 2001. Now, 25 years later, he is sharing the screen with her daughter.
Not much has been revealed about Paris Paramount, but Meyers previously described the film as being about a group of people making a movie and “the magic and mystery of what we do”.
The film is expected to premiere in December 2027.
Already making her own name in fashion
While Paris Paramount marks Apple’s first major film role, she is no stranger to being in front of the camera.
Before moving into acting, she had already begun building a presence in the fashion world, appearing in major campaigns and collaborating with well-known brands.
In May, she fronted a campaign for Chloé featuring summer florals and eyelet pieces.
“What an absolute honor to get to work with Chloé,” she wrote on Instagram. “It is a dream come true!!!!!!!”
Apple has also appeared in other fashion shoots and recently made a cameo in HBO’s Rooster, starring Steve Carell.
Now, with her first feature film role under way, Apple is adding acting to a growing list of projects as she begins building a career of her own.
