Exes Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin reunite for daughter Apple’s graduation
Former couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin reunited in Nashville to celebrate a proud family milestone as their daughter, Apple Martin, graduated from Vanderbilt University.
The former husband and wife were photographed together alongside their son Moses during the graduation ceremony on Friday, showing a united front as proud parents despite ending their marriage more than a decade ago.
Chris kept things understated in an all-black outfit while accompanying Moses around campus. Meanwhile, Gwyneth brought a bright touch to the celebration in a red sweater paired with a flowing light blue dress.
Photos from the day also showed the actress walking arm-in-arm with husband Brad Falchuk, while Apple stayed close beside her in her graduation gown.
The 21-year-old graduate looked elegant in a white dress styled with black heels and carried a bouquet of white roses, symbolising a fresh chapter ahead.

Growing through change
Gwyneth and Chris famously announced their “conscious uncoupling” in 2014 after more than 10 years of marriage. Over the years, both have continued to maintain a warm and respectful co-parenting relationship.
In previous interviews, Gwyneth even described Chris as being “like her brother”, reflecting the close friendship they have built after divorce.
The family moment resonated with many online, especially parents navigating modern family dynamics and blended relationships.
Last week, Apple shared a series of graduation photos on Instagram, giving followers a glimpse into her final university moments with friends.
The carousel included photos of her posing around campus, spending time in the library and celebrating alongside fellow graduates dressed in white ensembles and graduation caps.
“A bittersweet moment. How lucky we are to have these memories ,” she wrote.
