Mariah Carey crashes son’s livestream again, proving some things never change
Even for someone like Mariah Carey, some roles stay the same.
On stage, she is a global icon. At home, she is still just a mum who might walk into her child’s room at the “wrong” time.
The singer recently made another unexpected appearance during her son Moroccan’s Twitch livestream, leaving the 14-year-old slightly flustered in front of his viewers.
“Chat, my mom’s here,” he said, before cautiously asking if she wanted to say hello.
Moments later, Carey appeared on screen, greeting viewers and telling them she loved them.
The reaction was instant. Viewers flooded the chat with messages for the singer, while her son tried to keep things under control.
Not long after, he wrapped up the interaction, clearly eager to get back to his stream.
It was not the first time it had happened.
Nearly a year ago, Carey made a similar surprise appearance, walking into his room mid-stream with his twin sister Monroe.
That moment also ended with her son trying, somewhat unsuccessfully, to usher them out.
Even in a home where the mother is Mariah Carey, some things do not really change.
