Robbie Williams shared a touching moment with his rarely seen daughter, Teddy, as the 13-year-old joined him on stage during his concert in Luxembourg.
The British singer, 52, was performing his 1997 hit Angels at the Luxexpo Open-Air when he welcomed his eldest daughter, whose full name is Theodora, on stage.
As the crowd applauded, Teddy waved before turning to embrace her father and telling him, “I love you.”
It was a rare public appearance for the teenager, as Robbie and his wife, Ayda Field, have largely kept their four children away from the spotlight.
The couple are parents to Theodora, 13, Charlton, 11, Colette, seven, and Beau, six.
Following in her father’s footsteps?
The sweet father-daughter moment comes as Robbie has spoken about Teddy’s own ambitions in entertainment.
The teenager made her film debut in Tinsel Town and, according to her father, also has a talent for music.
“She’s very, very talented, she’s got a wonderful voice and writes songs easily,” Robbie previously said.
However, despite wanting Teddy to join him on stage for several years, the singer has been careful not to rush her into the public eye.
Robbie admitted he had seen other children of famous parents face harsh criticism and did not want a similar experience to damage his daughter’s confidence.
For a teenager growing up with famous parents, the spotlight may always be close by. But Robbie and Ayda appear determined to let Teddy step into it at her own pace.
