Khloé Kardashian keeps her children away from social media for now
In a world where children are often introduced to the internet at an increasingly young age, Khloé Kardashian is choosing to take a different path.
The reality star and mother of two recently revealed that her children, True, seven, and Tatum, three, are currently growing up without access to social media or the internet.
Speaking on her podcast Khloé In Wonder Land, Kardashian shared that while her children are used to the presence of cameras and even paparazzi, the online world remains something they have yet to discover.
“It’s normal to them to experience paparazzi. It’s strange, but that’s the norm,” she said.
Despite their exposure to fame through their mother, Kardashian explained that her children do not have access to the internet in any form.
“They don’t have social media. They don’t have the internet in any way. My kids don’t have Google. They don’t have anything like that,” she shared.

The 41-year-old said she believes young children do not need to be exposed to social media too early.
“When they’re old enough, they will figure it out,” she said, adding that she personally does not think children as young as three or seven should be on social platforms.
Interestingly, Kardashian also revealed that her daughter does not truly understand what TikTok is.
According to her, when True says she wants to “film a TikTok”, it simply means recording a fun dancing video at home.
“They think that means a dancing video,” she explained, adding that the children are unaware of trending sounds or online trends unless she shows them something.
Looking ahead, Kardashian shared that she is considering giving True her first phone when she turns 12, which will be her “golden birthday” on April 12, 2030.
However, the phone would not automatically mean access to social media.
“That doesn’t mean she’ll get social media. That means she gets a phone,” she said, adding that she would prefer her children to wait until around 16 or 17 before joining social platforms.
Kardashian first became a mother in 2018 with the birth of her daughter True, followed by her son Tatum in 2022.
Despite her split from NBA player Tristan Thompson, the pair have maintained what she describes as a strong co-parenting relationship.
“We’re not meant to be together, but he was meant to be the father of these kids,” she shared in a previous interview.
