This is the heartbreaking story of a man from Thailand who finally decided to speak up after years of allegedly suffering in silence behind one of the country’s wealthiest family names.
Siranudh Scott, also known as “Psi”, has publicly accused his elder brother, Sunit Scott, of sexually abusing him for more than a decade.
The 29-year-old, a fourth-generation member of the Bhirombhakdi family behind the Singha beer empire, shared the allegations in an emotional Facebook video posted on May 9.
During the video, Siranudh broke down in tears while claiming the abuse began when he was 12 years old and continued until he turned 24.
“I don’t want anyone to call me a Singha heir. People don’t know the truth,” he said.
According to reports by Kbizoom and The Bangkok Post, Siranudh also alleged that several family members were aware of the incidents but chose not to intervene.
He further claimed there is an audio recording in which the alleged abuser admitted to his actions.
“Everyone in my family knows because they heard the tape where he admitted it,” he alleged.
The allegations surfaced amid an ongoing inheritance dispute involving Siranudh and his mother over assets reportedly left to him by his late grandfather, Chamnong Bhirombhakdi.
Siranudh also claimed he was labelled “ungrateful” after speaking publicly about alleged mistreatment within the family.
The controversy has since gone viral across Thai social media.
The case also drew public attention because Sunit recently married Thai actress Mild Lapassalan in December 2025.
According to Kbizoom, Siranudh had allegedly attempted to contact Lapassalan before the wedding to warn her about the situation, but the ceremony proceeded as planned.
